About the event

Brainy Babe Tutoring offers private tutoring to bridge the educational and social emotional gap from school to the students' home. This program focuses on the prevention of falling behind academically and staying engaged socially and emotionally for elementary students who reside in the central district (Central area) of Seattle. Focusing on the student holistically.

Brainy Babe Tutoring offers Homework help, provides academic tips and healthy lifestyle tips by the way of small groups and Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime to promote safety during distant learning and in person small group activities which practice safety of individuals.

Brainy Babe tutoring provides a safe environment for all scholars K-12 to develop and establish confidence in their very own skills and abilities. While giving scholars tools to help the scholar achieve their academic and social goals.

The Marvin Thomas Memorial Foundation has served youth for twenty years in the Central area of Seattle by engaging them mentally and physically. Together we partner to aid students in healthy lifestyles mentally, physically, socially, emotionally and academically. Being that the following school year will be virtual learning it is of importance to keep students academically, socially and emotionally Intune.

Also, as a former intervention specialist at Leschi elementary I personally have experience working with elementary students in the central district neighborhood.
